Following the great success of the Fluids and Health inaugural 2019 Conference, we continued to build the exciting community of Fluids & Health, and will meet again now at a new 2022 Gordon Research Conference to be held from August 14 to August 19th, 2022 at Mount Holyoke College, MA, USA!
Looking forward to seeing all of you at this new 2022 GRC, with a focus on Contamination and Infectious Disease Transmission From the Lens of Fluid Physics and Across Scales

Scope and format
The Fluids & Health 2022 meeting, in the form of the newly established 2022 GRC Fluids in Disease Transmission and Contamination, will provide the selected participants an international forum to exchange on frontier research at a growing and exciting research intersection between fluid dynamics and health, with particular focus on topics in infectious diseases transmission, at various scales; and fundamentla questions of fluid physics, soft matter, biophysics, and virology; and epidemiology, in addition to ecology and public health; where fluids are at the core.
We note that applications for posters or attendance can be broader than "infectious disease transmission". Similarly to 2019, this 2022 iteration will involve discussions on technical, theoretical, methodological, and translational challenges relevant for a range of scientific open questions at the intersection of virology/microbiology/physiology/fluid physics/mechanics/soft matter/applied math/modelling and health broadly defined, so those working in these areas should also consider attending and apply (attendance is also via application).
